Complete plastid genome of Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lindl and comparative analysis in Rosaceae
Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb.) Lindl (loquat) is an evergreen Rosaceae fruit tree widely distributed in subtropical regions. Its leaves are considered as traditional Chinese medicine and are of high medical value especially for cough and emesis. Thus, we sequenced the complete plastid genome of E. japonica to better utilize this important species. The complete plastid genome of E. japonica is 159...
متن کاملA new acylated triterpene from the roots of Chaenomeles japonica.
A new acylated triterpene together with prunasin, (-)-epicatechin, daucosterol, and three triterpenes, ursolic, oleanolic, and pomolic acids was isolated from the root of Chaenomeles japonica (THUNB.) LINDL. (Rosaceae) and determined to be 3-O-(E)-3, 5-dihydroxycinnamoylursolic acid on the basis of NMR and FAB-MS experiments.
متن کاملphysiological response of pear (pyrus communis cv.dargazi) to salinity stress under in vitro conditions
this study was conducted to find out the influence of in vitro salinity on growth parameters shoot length, number of leaves, number of new buds, the chlorophyll, chlorosis and necrosis and absorption of sodium, chloride, potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus of pear (pyrus communis cv. dargazi) in vitro propagated shoots. the experiment was conducted as a complete randomized design with 5 salinity...
متن کاملResponse Surface Optimized Extraction of Total Triterpene Acids from Eriobotrya japonica (Thunb) Lindl (Loquat) Leaf and Evaluation of their In vitro Antioxidant Activities
Purpose: To optimize extraction of total triterpene acids from loquat leaf and evaluate their in vitro antioxidant activities. Methods: The independent variables were ethanol concentration, extraction time, and solvent ratio, while the dependent variable was content of total triterpene acids. Composite design and response surface method were used to optimize the extraction process, while antiox...
متن کاملAsynchronous development of stigmatic receptivity in the pear (Pyrus communis; Rosaceae) flower.
While stigma anatomy is well documented for a good number of species, little information is available on the acquisition and cessation of stigmatic receptivity. The aim of this work is to characterize the development of stigma receptivity, from anthesis to stigma degeneration, in the pentacarpellar pear (Pyrus communis) flower. Stigma development and stigmatic receptivity were monitored over tw...
